9th International Yoga Day Celebration

Life Spring Yoga Institute is celebrating the 9th International Yoga Day on June 21, 2023. We are organizing a yoga practice session in honor of the great masters of Yoga who shaped the modern form of Yoga. All respected yoga members and practitioners are invited to participate and show their respect and gratitude.

The venue for the event is Manik Rao ji ka Shree Jumma dada Vyayam Madir  at Dandia Bazar, and the session will start at 06:am. Participants are requested to arrive by 5:45 am positively.

The United Nations recognized June 21 as the International Day of Yoga

Yoga is India’s greatest legacy and a glorious gift to the world. Practicing, promoting, and propagating this tradition is a privilege. The United Nations recognized the universal appeal of yoga in 2014 and proclaimed June 21 as the International Day of Yoga through resolution 69/131. 

This year, India is celebrating the 9th International Day of Yoga under the theme “Yoga for Vasudhaiv Kutumbakam” (Yoga for ‘The World is One Family’). This theme highlights the idea of interconnectedness among all people and promotes unity and harmony across different backgrounds and cultures. On this International Yoga Day, Life Spring Yoga Institute is dedicating their practice to the Vadodara’s yogic legacy & great teachers in Vadodara, Professor Manik Rao ji and Swami Kuvalayānanda ji.

Rajratna Rajpriya Professor Manikrao

And Professor Manik Rao, also known as Rajratna, Rajpriya, who dedicated his life to building the physical fitness of the youth through innovative approaches. The institution Manik Rao ji ka Shree Jumma dada Vyayam Madir, in Vadodara is nurtured by his devoted pupil, Rajratna, Rajpriya, Prof. Manik Rao, and is a tribute to his saintly personality.

This institution has preserved the essence of Mallakhamb, a traditional sport originating from the Indian subcontinent. Mallakhamb involves gymnasts performing aerial yoga or gymnastic postures and wrestling grips in concert with a vertical stationary or hanging wooden pole, cane, or rope.
